As I have been traveling, I have had time to ponder what SheJumps is all about.
Do you jump even though you are afraid? Do you risk what you depend on for the possibility of gaining something better? Do you wish to know what you are capable of?
SheJumps represents the best of our selves. We are each other’s heroes. We are risk takers, dream makers, magic instigators, professional illuminators.

Do you know how much magic you posses? Do you know what it takes to be the person you have always wanted to become but need a little support in making it happen? Might you just take that chance with a little push, with a little support, from maybe, someone who is doing just that?
Prove it, and you have a friend. Make the first move and you have support. You have another backbone at SheJumps. We will not lecture here. We will not write fluff or try to sell you or brainwash you. But if you are alive and wish to share it with a flock that shares in all that you are and all that you wish to become, then jump in.
We are a community of powerful, creative, inspired, colorful, passionate, and alive girls. Some of us have freckles, some have dimples, and all of us have zits – sometimes. Some have long hair, some have short hair, but by the time we get old it doesn't have to be grey hair. Sometimes we have tan skin, other times it is blotchy and pale. Sometimes we are brilliantly beautiful, other times we wear old sweats and eat cookie dough. We don't have much to prove, only everything – only every great idea that we have and every great accomplishment. We know that every time we scare ourselves and grow that much stronger we are capable of more than we thought we were.
Jump into puddles, into mistakes, into the things that scare you, a bowl of Cheerios, a beautiful relationship, that talk with your mom that you have been meaning to have. Jump off a 60-foot waterfall of snow or a skinny rail with teeth. Have blind faith that your feet will hold you, that the landing will be soft, the outcome perfect, and the need for anyone to have noticed absolutely irrelevant.
SheJumps is learning to brave a blind back flip into icy water and stand up to a boss who has taken you for granted. It is driving a thousand miles to learn something new or breaking up with that guy who won't let you shine. It is finally letting go of excuses and going for it. We are not always strong and powerful and inspired. Sometimes we are weak, and indecisive, and unsure. Sometimes we make the wrong decisions and pay for it. And sometimes, trying to prove our selves to whomever is not good enough. And for those moments that we have each other, they are to remind us of our commitment, and to mirror each other’s light. We are dedicated to reaching our potential, willing to be better than ourselves, to make it and celebrate in the commitment we have made together.
We are each other's handrail when our knees get shaky, and if she jumps, then you can, too.
Prove it, send us a picture, send us a story. Quiet or loud, open or shut, shiny or salty, we radiate our potential and it is contagious. If she jumps then you can, too.
The world is only dangerous to those who see danger, and the only limits are those we let stand in our way.
You have arrived, though you never left.
Now jump.
