 Journalist Jill Bauerle recently interviewed SheJumps founders Lynsey Dyer and Vanessa Pierce (SJ President Claire Smallwood was somewhere buried in IRS paperwork and couldn't make it). From Jill's podcast intro ... SNEWS Live: Two years ago, during a long car ride, Lynsey Dyer and Vanessa Pierce played a game called "Manifest." The game required that each player describe her wildest dreams. Then they wondered aloud what it would take to make those dreams happen. Today, Dyer and Pierce are still playing the game -- and encouraging others to join in. They started SheJumps, a non-profit that encourages women to take personal and professional risks to achieve their dreams. In late January at the SIA SnowSports trade show, the Outdoor Industries Women's Coalition gave the SheJumps founders its Pioneering Women award for their role as mentors to other women in the snowsports industry. SNEWS® Live caught up with Dyer and Pierce to talk about what risks they've taken to achieve their goals and how they're encouraging other women to push their limits.
