LISA WATSON is the ultimate backcountry adventurer. Whether she is working, playing or testing, every aspect of Lisa's life revolves around the ski industry and the Jackson Hole ski scene. She is a member of the K2 Tele9 Alliance as well as a Cloudveil Mountain Works Ambassador, both of which challenge her to design and test gear that enables women to rip to their full potential. Whoa, and and if that's not enough, she also has a full-time job as the communications manager at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Her teleing has taken her to South America for first decent attempts on Nevado Juncal, a 20,163 foot peak in the Chilean Andes, Alaska for ski-mountaineering expeditions, all over the North American Rockies, and deep into the Tetons. When the snow melts, Lisa spends her summers mountain bike racing and also competes in as many endurance races as she can fit into her busy schedule. Her favorite days of the summer are spent floating the Snake River with her boyfriend and doggies, sipping beers in the sun and hopefully pulling in some trout.
